Our Story

Founded in 1989, Absorbent Products Ltd. was formerly known as Western Industrial Clay Products Ltd. The company is based in Kamloops, BC, Canada.

Over 10-Years ago we developed a unique minesite that contains a naturally occurring blend of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay.  This unique clay blend is the foundation of our pet litters and agricultural product line.

The first two products we developed were Can Dry Industrial Absorbent and WC Cat Cat Litter. We have come a long way since then and now offer various types of absorbents, stall deodorizers, feed additives made from diatomaceous earth, animal bedding, kitty litter and many other cat litter, agricultural, and industrial products.

Today, Absorbent Products Ltd. continues to be dedicated to the research and development of innovative and environmentally friendly products in the industrial, agricultural and retail sectors.
